Kelsey Black, MS, CCC-SLP CLC
Owner, Speech-Language Pathologist, Certified Lactation Counselor
Kelsey is a licensed speech language pathologist, feeding specialist, and lactation counselor with over a decade of experience treating and diagnosing pediatric speech, language, and feeding disorders. She earned her undergraduate degree from James Madison University (Go Dukes!) and her master’s degree at New York University.
Over the years, she has gained experience working in a variety of settings, including inpatient/outpatient pediatric hospitals, schools, and home care. She has completed specialized training in feeding/swallowing disorders, and speech sound disorder, and childhood apraxia of speech.
Kelsey takes a warm and engaging approach to therapy, blending evidenced-based techniques with play, connection, and compassion. She prioritizes parent education and believes in the importance of including the whole family in therapy.
Outside of work, Kelsey enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband and 3 young kids, baking, and exercising.
